My Pretty Ballerina

Tomorrow is O's very first ballet recital. It's a really big deal. Even though she dances around here and I'm sure she knows the entire dance by heart, when out in public O. becomes very shy and reserved. The fact that she's excited about this makes me even more proud of her for even doing it. I thought I'd share some pictures of her all done up on her way to the dress rehearsal. I know I'm biased, but I think she looks gorgeous! I wasn't sure about the costume when I first saw it, but now that I see her in all her regalia I think she looks like a little flower. She even let me put her earrings back in and she was thrilled to be wearing pink lipstick. I'm sure over the years she'll be in lots of performances, but there really is nothing like that first one, is there?
